Warminster lies midway between Bath and Salisbury, on the edge of Salisbury Plain. Oaklands lies on the edge of town and has remained in the same family since it was built towards the end of the 19th Century. It is very comfortably furnished and has ample private parking.

Warminster is a convenient base from which to explore the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. The Georgian splendour of Bath is nearby, as is the wonderful cathedral at Salisbury.

You can also visit the Longleat Estate with its Safari Park, prehistoric  Stonehenge, the mysterious stone circles of Avebury, the charming Gold Hill at Shaftesbury, the enchanting National Trust gardens at Stourhead, the resplendent Wilton House, and many other attractions.

The bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and either twin or double beds. Rooms are equipped with colour TV and comfortable chairs.

Children are welcome and a cot is available. For families there is a suite of two bedrooms with an inter-connecting bathroom.

Breakfast is cooked to order, using local produce, and is served in the conservatory.

Oaklands is a strictly non-smoking establishment and pets are not permitted.

Double Rooms: £65 - £85. Single Room: £50 - £55.

Payment must be by cash or cheque (with cheque card) as there is no facility for credit cards. A deposit of £20 per room must be made at the time of booking.

Warminster is mid-way between Bath and Salisbury on the A36. Boreham Road is the main road leading from the centre of town, heading East towards Salisbury. Oaklands is on the right-hand side as you leave Warminster, opposite St. John’s Church and Rock Lane, and directly before Bradfield Close.
